The Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society (KWHS) has been saving lives since 1927. Now in its 82nd year the KWHS is one of the largest humane societies in Ontario serving one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas.

Canada's Economic Action Plan

Through Canada's Economic Action Plan, the federal government is helping businesses in all sectors of the economy by providing a temporary 100-percent capital cost allowance (CCA) rate on new computer hardware and systems software acquired after January 27, 2009, and before February 1, 2011. This initiative will cost an estimated $340 million in 2009-2010 and $355 million in 2010-2011. Read More
